AnimFX NZ 10 is extremely honored that both Weta Digital and Park Road Post Production are opening their doors to our industry audience to host this event at which exclusive behind-the-scenes secrets about the making of Avatar will be revealed on Saturday November 6, 10 am – 4pm.
Joe Letteri, visual effects supervisor and multiple Oscar winner, BAFTA recipient and VES Awards winner, will kick-off this Weta Day, which is chocker full of extensive creative and technical sessions.
NZ On Air backing Canterbury
NZ On Air is getting behind the Canterbury region by funding the live broadcast of Band Together: Concert for Canterbury.
This free 8-hour concert to be held on Labour weekend Saturday 23rd October will be broadcast on TV3 with production investment from NZ On Air. It will also be simulcast on a number of radio and television stations.
Media studies symposium: Ordinary People, Public Selves – 21 Oct (Wgtn)
This one-day symposium, hosted by the Media Studies Programme at Victoria University of Wellington, aims to investigate the phenomenon of the ordinary person as they appear in mediated form.
