AnimFX NZ 10 is extremely honored that both Weta Digital and Park Road Post Production are opening their doors to our industry audience to host this event at which exclusive behind-the-scenes secrets about the making of Avatar will be revealed on Saturday November 6, 10 am – 4pm.
Joe Letteri, visual effects supervisor and multiple Oscar winner, BAFTA recipient and VES Awards winner, will kick-off this Weta Day, which is chocker full of extensive creative and technical sessions.

Up and coming film makers are invited to apply for New Zealand Film Commission sponsorship to attend this year’s annual industry conference, held in Auckland on 11-12 November.
All applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 27 October.

NZ On Air is getting behind the Canterbury region by funding the live broadcast of Band Together: Concert for Canterbury.
This free 8-hour concert to be held on Labour weekend Saturday 23rd October will be broadcast on TV3 with production investment from NZ On Air. It will also be simulcast on a number of radio and television stations.
