The last few days has been a nightmare for those of us living in Christchurch. That quake hit with the force of a freight train and left us, our city and peace of mind shattered. But before the dust settles and we all try to get on with life, I wanted to say – and I'm sure that I speak for the other members of the Christchurch screen community – a HUGE thanks to all our friends and colleagues in the film & television industry who have texted us, sent e-mails, phoned and just wished for our well being. Your thoughts and efforts to connect are really appreciated, they provided light and having been on the receiving end, it makes a big difference to know that we are among a community that cares.
